18th Street Arts Center

18th Street Art Center’s mission is to provoke public dialogue through contemporary art-making, with the belief that the creative process is just as important as the outcome, and that artists contribute to a vibrant, healthy, and just society. Through the Foundation’s Make Jazz Fellowship, one Jazz musician is selected annually for a three-month residency during which he/she has space and time to compose new work and showcase their unique talents throughout the vibrant Los Angeles Jazz scene.
