Matty Wilder

Matty began his work with The Herb Alpert Foundation in 2000 as the program associate for the Herb Alpert Award in the Arts. He transitioned over to the Foundation’s community grantmaking in 2007, where he works with a range of arts organizations and special projects throughout the greater Los Angeles area. He serves as board chair of LA Voice Action, the action fund of LA Voice, and is an alumnus of Leadership LA (LLA ’13), a program of the Southern California Leadership Network. Wilder’s background is in theater and photography and he holds a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts from Bennington College and a Master’s in Public Administration as well as a certificate in Public Policy from the USC Price School of Public Policy.
