Chrysalis

Chrysalis is a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a pathway to self-sufficiency for homeless and low-income individuals by providing the resources and support needed to find and retain employment. Support from the Foundation enabled Chrysalis to create a Scholarship Fund in order to provide clients with specialized vocational and training opportunities.

By providing grants and mentoring support to grassroots efforts in the United States, the Good People Fund helps harness the power of individuals — even on a modest scale.  By investing in programs focused on poverty, disability, hunger and more, GPF is committed to a more compassionate and just world.

LA Goal

L.A. GOAL provides opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities to increase their independence and employability through educational, vocational and recreational programs. L.A. GOAL’s art and outreach activities educate the community about the abilities of people with disabilities.

Library Foundation of Los Angeles

The Library Foundation of Los Angeles provides critical support to the Los Angeles Public Library resulting in free programs, resources, and services available to the millions of adults, children, and youth in Los Angeles.

Music Mends Minds

Music Mends Minds is a therapeutic and intergenerational band project of seniors and students that aims to address early cognitive issues in elders by supporting the mind and spirit of those people that have been affected by neurological disease, cognitive decline, and PTSD.
